Post subject: Windows explorer tried to access web? Get Alert
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>customize (more info?)

Hi all,

Every time I booted up my computer (WinXP) and before I do anything at
all, I opened Zonealarm log and I saw "Windows Explorer tried to
connect to 82.98.235.62:80". I already scanned with Norton AV,
Lavasoft's AdAware and Search&Destroy and found nothing.

The IP shown is a domain in Belgium. Did I get a virus or trojan? For
the moment, I just blocked everything going to that domain.
Please advise. I would appreciate your help very much.
Thank you.
