Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>hardware (more info?)

I have a Logitech G5 mouse 0 G15 keyboard connected to a WinXP64 PC. They
have suddenly stopped from working properly. When I tried to reinstall the
drivers from logitech (64bit) I get an error message from Windows that
hardware can not be installed since no drivers can be found. I have the
newest drivers installed from logitech... The mouse and keyboard works
perfectly on a WinXP 32 bit pc.

I have tried to remove all USB devices from the device manager, rebooted to
hae the system discover drivers again. No success.

Do you know if there has been any recent updates for WinXP64 that may have
caused an incompatibility? How can I clean the OS and have the drivers
"forced" installed again ?
