When I boot my PC, I am asked to choose between WindowsXP and WindowsXP (1).
I know how it got there, just don't know how to get rid of it. I know I need
to go to "Start", "Control Panel", etc until I get to the actual wording.
Could anyone tell me what should be worded there. I don't have a copy of what
it says on mine (I'm at work), but I do remember seeing "multi (0)........,
and something like "opint", "WINDOWS". Sorry theres not more. If anyone could
help, I could get a copy of it by tomorrow.

Thanks
V/R

Do both entries work, or just one of them?

If only one of them actually works then use Start - Run - MSCONFIG. Go
to the BOOT.INI tab and click on the "Check all boot paths..." button.

Good luck
