I use the built-in Windows XP backup utility to do the daily backup for an
Access database. It is working fine and it has backup the mdb file for the
last 30 days. The backup file is gettting larger each day. My question is how
to remove the old backup entry says more than 2 weeks old or how to configure
the backup utility to remove it automatically. I only want to keep the backup
entry for the past 2 weeks. Thanks.

Hi, I've been trying to find a solution for this problem too. I've been
making differential backups os selected files and folders, and normal backups
for the system state, on to an external hardrive. I also thought the
differential backup would only add the changed files, but the truth is it
seems to duplicate all of the selected files. Its about 65Gb at a time, wich
has easily filled up the disk.

I'm also trying to find a way to merge the backed up files, or at least to
remove the older ones. The Backup Utility doesn't really seem to have that
option, but maybe I'm just missing something... any ideas????

Thanks!!!
