I have Media Center 2005 PC with Service Pak 2 and all critical updates. I
have not installed Media Center Rollup 2 or Framework 2 yet. I have signed
into Windows using Windows Live Credentials for each user I have setup (each
has own profile). I have not signed into Windows Messenger yet and have not
loaded the new Messenger Live Instant Messenging program. I use Office
Outlook 2003 for email.

I am not sure what to do next. Should I sign into Windows Messenger with
Live Credentials and then load Messenger Live Program? Should I load Media
Center Rollup 2 first? Not sure if Windows Live requires it. Also, I just
found out that My PC has updates motherboard drivers. I just reformatted and
am reloading all from scratch so I don't want to mess things up. Also, I am
running Norton Internet Security 2006 and System Works 2006. I still have to
run Media Center setup.

I would really appreciate it is someone could give me the correct ordering
of what should be done first--and if I should sign in with Windows Messenger
before loading Messenger Live or if this will create more problems.

Greetings,

The order doesn't matter for the rest of the stuff, but you can just ignore Windows Messenger
completely and use Windows Live Messenger as if you were to save your credentials in Windows
Messenger it can get annoying if misconfigured (starts up automatically, etc.).
