On Vista64 the default is to use the 32-bit version of WMP (in Program
Files(x86)) not the 64-bit version (in Program Files). Media Center however is
a native 64-bit application that requires 64-bit decoders for any of the video
files that you want to play. The 64-bit version of ffdshow-tryouts should work
for you
