Yes, I understood that completely. At this point since you have nothing to
lose, I'd try this approach:
Google for - and download a Microsoft Utility file called MSICUU2.exe This
utility is an amazing tool, in that it removes corrupted Windows Installer
info files or entries for programs that fail to uninstall. Install the
software, and when you first open it. You'll see a populated list of
programs built up in there on the main screen that it can work with. Have a
look for Roxio Easy Creator 7 and if its there click on it.
Assuming its listed MSICUU2 should remove all the install/ uninstall
information for it, as well as its entry in Add/remove programs, and you
shouldn't have it popping up on you again.
