I have read just about all the similar posts on here and tried all the fixes
posted, but I still cannot get this working at all?

I have checked the computer for malware, spyware etc. and it is clean.
I have reloaded xp SP2
I have all the latest updates
It is stopping me using my wireless network as none of the other computers
can 'see' the main one.

Is the only way to reload xp completely? Any help much appreciated

There must be dozens of reasons why the computers on a network can't see
each other. What, exactly, makes you think that Windows Firewall is the
cause?
