Post subject: Windows Desktop Search log files
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>perform_maintain (more info?)

Today I noticed that something was gobbling up disk space (Windows XP SP2).
After digging into the file system I saw that C:\Documents and
Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Desktop
Search\Logs had mushroomed to 9 GB. Tens of thousands of log files, all
created five to 20 minutes apart. I'm using the latest version of Windows
Desktop Search (3.01) and the Lotus Notes plugin.

I can't find anything on the Microsoft support web site, and in WDS I can't
see any option to turn logs on or off. Any advice?
