I have the following error message from a WMIDiag run:

Permissions/Edit Default): ..................................................

security descriptor and adding the ACE.

'DCOMCNFG.EXE'.

I cannot find any account called Self in any groups, nor does it exist as a
user.

Can someone help me to fix this problem? (ie, give fairly clear
step-by-step instructions as I think this might be a bit complex)

I'm comfortable in the registry, and somewhat comfortable in the component
services area - I just experienced that today for the first time.

(I've already fixed a different one involving security in the Component
Services area, which was cleared up in this WMIDiag run).

Thank you!
