I downloaded the latest Leadtek Vista drivers for the PVR2000 card. Live TV
works fine using the Winfast program in Vista. If I load Media Center, it
tells me I don't have a TV tuner installed. I have tried going thru the
settings and TV setup, but when I hit the button to install the TV, it says I
don't have a TV Tuner installed.

I am running a P4 with 1Gb memory and lots of disk! I am using Vista
Ultimate RC1.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for hte help

What drivers are you using? They appear to have Vista drivers dated just
four days ago.

Does the device show up in device manager?

The problem is that you only have the standard Windows XP drivers installed
for you card and not the MCE dirvers which are required for your card to run
with MC..

Maybe the following link will help you get the right drivers.

Well, uh, it isn't a Hauppauge card.

And he has the latest Vista drivers installed.

Sorry about that, however, the problem may still be the same. Some cards
have standard Vista drivers that support the card manufacturers app on Vista
and which however, do not support the MC app on Vista.
I notice from the Ledteck Website that the latest Vista drivers for his card
were released only last Wednesday 1/17/2007 hopefully these are the ones he
is using. However, I think that problem really may be that he is running
Vista RC1 and many RC2 and RTM drivers do not work with RC1. Maybe he needs
to back up to Ledtech drivers from the Beta2 or RC1 time frame instead of
using the latest ones.

I didn't catch it was RC1. I'd give it up.
