Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>games (more info?)

I have been playing world of warcraft for a few months now and I bought a
kingston memory card to add additional memory to my laptop so I could get
smoother gameplay. However just around the time I got a new one, the game
will suddenly freeze on me and then turn into a black screen, sometimes
showing a very thin column of the right side part of my desktop. I lose
ability to do anything though and end up having to restart the computer. Most
recently the same thing happened, but then the blue error message screen came
up saying i had to restart due to problems with the following program: vga.
How can I fix what's going on?

Does the problem go away if you remove the new memory stick?
