i have bought intex tv tunner card. i have two xp. it perfectly
installed and running in one XP but it another Xp, its not installing
properly.

there is Yello exclaimatory marks on Multimedia Controller in device
manager. i tried to reinstall several times but it says

\" CANNOT INSTALL THIS HARDWARE. TV CAPTURE CARD WDM VIDEO CAPTURE. AN
ERROR OCCURRED DURING INSTALLATION OF THE DEVICE. ACCESS IS DENIED. \"

i checked the properties of Multimedia Controller. and its "error code
1"
i tried installing intel driver again. on every boot-up it says..found
multimedia controller and ask whether to install device manually or
automatically. whatever i choose in the end it gives same error.

i have administrator account. and the tv tunner card is working
perfectly in other xp.

plz suggest as soon as possible.

Contact those who sold it to you, check the hardware manufacturer's web page
for updated drivers, etc.

Open up this folder: C:\Windows\Driver Cache\i386

Rename the driver.cab file to driver.old

Insert you XP CD. Click on "Perform Additional Tasks". Click "Browse this
CD" and then double-click the i386 folder. Find the driver.cab file,
right-click and Copy.

Paste it in the C:\Windows\Driver cache\i386 folder.

Open Device Manager, right-click and remove the network card. Reboot the
computer. Direct it to the location of the driver when it asks, or if it
doesn't reinstall the driver.

Good lucks!
