I am getting this message:

Cannot find 'File:///C:/WINNT/system32/drivers/detect.htm'
Make sure the path or Internet address is correct

It started after I discovered malicious software on my computer and I fixed
it. Anyone know how/where I can get this driver? My system is Windows XP,
Home Edition, Version 2002, Service Pack 2.

Thanks.

Sounds more like you are still infested with something.

What did you do to cleanup?
Ran SuperAntispyware?
Ran Spybot Search and Destroy?
Ran Lavasoft Ad-Aware?

Checked msconfig to see what processes are starting up that may be trying to
load that?

You have (correctly?) deleted the file detect.htm, but there are probably one
or more registry entries which call it up when Windows is started.

You can either:
(a) Ignore it.
(b) Run regedit.exe to find and delete references to detect.htm in the
registry.

It is advisable to either backup the registry before editing, or record
every change you make in a log file.

But Shenan Stanley is right - your cleaning tools/processes are not 100%
effective.
