Post subject: Shared folders in XP Home
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>security_admin (more info?)

I have a shared folder on one of my PC's on my home network which I use to
store photographs. This (and the sub-folders) are accessible from my laptop.
Unfortunately, when I download new photographs (the software creates a new
folder), an error occurs when I try to access it using the notebook. If I
'unshare' and then re-share the parent folder everything is OK again - until
I add my next set of photographs.

Any idea how I can stop this happening?

Thanks,

Mike
