I am using Cisco VPN from home. When using this, the connection gets the DNS
settings from my company's DNS server. I am able to RDP into vselected pcs
at work but not my own. The only way i can get into my work pc is to RDP
into another machine at work, then from there, RDP into my own pc. This is
slowing my working down considerably.

I am using IP addresses as it will not allow me to use hostnames
I am using XP Pro SP2 at work and at home
Server 2003 at work
I am a domain admin, also local admin for my own pc and Administrators on my
pc
are in the Remote Control Group
In System properties, Remote tab, the Remote Destop box is ticked
I can not think of any reason why I can remote in from inside the company
but not via VPN from outside the company

Any help appreciated pleae.

Thanks

havenlad

What is your "advanced Settings" --> Adapters and Bindings" -->
"Connections" ordering?
