Post subject: Programs open in MS Word
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>general (more info?)

All my programs (.exe) open in word. Like Adobe reader, Excel, PowerDVD,
WinZip, Itunes etc.....

All the short cuts on the desktop and in start/programs properties Target
Type show that they are a .lnk not as an application. Not sure how to change
all these short cuts.

Sorry i have that wrong. Under General tab "Type of File" is listed as
(.lnk) instead of shortcut.
