I installed WindowsXP Home Edition on my computer. After having it on for
some time I sent computer away to be repaired. I found out today when I did
updates that I now have Windows Professional and do not have genuine
validation. What do I do to fix this problem as can't afford to buy ne
product or key?

You should contact the person/dealer whom you gave to repair and ask him
to do the needful.
If you have original XP Home CD then go for a clean installation, that
will make things valid and original.

And once the problem is fixed, I would suggest that the OP find a more
responsible technician for any future work Sad

There is no way to uninstall XP Pro. Boot from the CD and format the system
partition, and continue with the installation.
