When I start my computer, my AV/Firewall programs are the last ones to load
(F-Secure is what I'm using.) Everything else loads first and finally,
after about 30 seconds, the F-Secure applications kick in. Is there a way
to change this - I'd like the Firewall/AV to be the first processes to be
activated, and I don't really care about the rest.

TIA

Doesn't seem right. You might ask them here.

Try Startup Delayer:
http://www.r2.com.au/software.php?page=2&show=startdelay
After you install and run the product, just move the colored bars at the
bottom of the window to the right or left to change the order and spacing of
when a product starts. Set the spacing to an even amount initially as it
will be easier to move things around.
