I am trying to download load iTunes on to my new computer, but there seems to
be a problem. I think I may have messed up the original Windows Media
settings. Does anyone know how to reset the settings to when I received my
computer (about 2 weeks ago)? I've tried to use the restore functionality,
but it doesn't work.

iTunes is a stand alone application.
Have you looked through their support FAQs?
You could also give more detail here - but likely be better off there.
