I am trying to install a driver for a linksys wireless G PCI card in an XP
Home box. The computer claims that the it is not signed or something, but it
won't let me over-ride it. It says to contact the administrator, but I am
using the administrator account, and the accounts are local on the box (there
are not network profiles). Where can I change this setting to allow me to
have the rights to over-ride the installation of an un-identified driver?

Might try Internet Options, Advanced, scroll down to security. Uncheck
the"Check for signatures on dowloaded programs." Would of thought you could
override it though.
