Post subject: Problem With Display Settings On Notebook For Use With Projector
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>video (more info?)

For one user profile on a notebook computer the projector acts like a second
monitor with the desktop extended to it, rather than mirroring what is on the
LDC display. I've changed the setting for the second display so it is not
Attached and applied the settings and rebooted. When the user logs in again
and uses the FN CRT/LCD keystroke sequence to display to the projector it
turns the projector back to being the 2nd display with the desktop extended
to it. So it appears that there is something in the user profile that is
causing this behavior. Not a problem when logged in as another user. How
can I fix the problem for this one user profile. I really don't want to
delete and recreate the user account.
