Help me please!!!! I have a problem I pray someone can help me with it. I
am an XP Home addition user. I can not seem to access the website
www.pge.com. No matter what browser I use, I.E., Netscape, Mozzilla, nothing
works. I have no problem with any other site. I have contacted my ISP
(Suddenlink), PGEs IT department, and we can’t seem to find the problem. All
say it must be with my computer since no one else has a problem. My roommate
uses a MAC and he has no problem accessing the site. I have tried everything
including disabling my firewall, Windows Defender, and NAV, and nothing seems
to work. I have downloaded updates from the MS website, and nothing works???
Please help me. I must access the site to conduct important business with
them. Please feel free to email me directly your suggested solution, or call
me at my number below.
Thanks,
Paul S.

Please describe what's happening. Is there a specific error message?
What happens when you try the IP address directly:
http://131.89.128.50/
Did you delete temporary Internet files? >> Stay informed about: Problem Accessing Website |

Try flushing the DNS cache:
Start - Run - "cmd". Type "ipconfig /flushdns" (no quotation marks and
make sure you hit the space bar before the slash).
You may need to empty your browser cache once more and reboot.

The latter.
1. Close browser.
2. Flush DNS cache.
3. Delete Temporary Internet Files (and cookies, too).
4. Reboot PC.
Also, you may want to check your hosts file in case pge.com is listed
there:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
If you still have problems, you could try pinging the site to see what
happens.
Finally, in the event of corrupted Winsock settings, see:
