Win XP Pro + SP2 + updates

Tried to print this morning and got an error msg.

CP -> Printers & Other Hardware -> View installed printers
shows _nothing_. Everything that was there (two printers
that we installed previously, plus the standard Win stuff,
e.g., fax) are _all_ gone.

What causes this?
How can I restore them?

I can reinstall the two printers that we have if I
have to, but what about the original MS items
(can't remember all of them, fax, etc.)?

Hi ll,

Did you reboot and check again?
