Ever since I installed SP2 for Windows XP I get a print error when I print a
PDF file using Acrobat 4.05. The file prints fine, but I get this error
which I then need to clear before the error icon will go away in the task
bar. How can I prevent that error message? Did uninstall reinstall... no
change.

Uninstall the old Adobe Reader, then reinstall the latest Adobe Reader.

Thanks for the tip... I forgot to mention this is Acrobat 4.05 full version.

What I did do and it worked, is to go to the Acrobat.exe file and set it to
Win98/Me compatibility mode. I don't get the error any more. I did not have
this print error problem with SP1 of XP, just SP2. But the compatibility
mode seems to have masked the problem.

In retrospect I probably posted this to the wrong forum. Thanks for
answering anyway.
