Power Scheme - Turn Off Monitor works intermitently

Hello,

I am running XP Pro. I set the pwer scheme to turn off the monitor after 10
minutes (or any other interval) and it works only intermittently and I have
been unable to determine what causes it to stop working. If I reboot the
computer that sometimes works but even if it works it still stops again
later on.

Does anyone have any ideas?

it seems some program is
moving mouse or doing some key press event
"turn off monitor" utility at http://www.rtsoftwares.com may be of use
