I changed the ShowGallery registry key in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media
Center\Settings\DvdSettings from "Play" to "Gallery" to replace the "Play
DVD" option with "DVD Library" option. Everything seemed fine. At some
point, the DVD Library option disappeared and I'm not sure what I did to
remove it from the TV + Movies section. I am using Vista Home Premium and I
have upgraded to SP1, although I'm fairly certain that the DVD Library option
didn't disappear with the SP1 upgrade. Does anyone know how to get that
option back to the TV + Movies section of Media Center? Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Tyler,

had the same issue yesterday after installing the latest intel embedded
graphics (GMA) driver on my vista system. Went into device manager and
deleted the video driver including the driver files, rebooted and used
windows update to reinstall everything. After that the dvd option was back,
and one other thing i noticed that when scrolling through the menu options
the 'fluid motion' was back.

So it looks like the video driver did something funny to MediaCenter.

Hope this helps,

Mike
