Hi All,

Since a couple of days, everytime I restart my machine I get a warning
message to let me know that Win XP could not create the pagefile file. I have
checked my settings and registry keys for pagefile size and location and
everythings seems ok:-
c:\pagefile.sys 2048 4096

I have enough space on my HD and I have defragmented it.

Any idea what could be wrong?

Thanks

Ron

What do you make of the possibility of the discussion towards the end
of this thread as offering a solution?

Is your computer perhaps infested with any Norton/Symantec products? A
couple of these have recently been found to have been interfering with
user specified virtual memory settings.

Hi Gerry.

I only see a total of four posts including the original on this
thread. Are there others? They are not showing up on the Microsoft
news server.
