I just recently had my laptop repaired and it works fine except that
everything on screen now is huge including the fonts on Windows Explorer, the
icons on the desktop, the icons on the taskbar... Everything is just bigger
than it usually is. I know there has to be a simple explanation for this,
but I just can't figure it out.

You are running at a lower resolution than you previously did.

To change it back, right-click on the desktop and choose Properties. On the
Settings tab, under Screen Resolution, drag the slider to the right to
choose the resolution you are comfortable with.

Hi Dequinder:

Let's start with this:

Control Panel - Display - Settings tab - Screen Resolution, and set the
slider to the correct screen resolution for your laptop.
