Post subject: Offline Files - I don't want all of My Documents
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>work_remotely (more info?)

I have users setup in AD so Z:\ is mapped to their user folder on the
network. My Documents is redirected to Z: (\\Files\Userdata\Username)

When I enable offline files I want to just map some of my folders in My
Documents, but all get set to offline. When I try do deselect folders by
right clicking, the Work Offline option is greyed out.

What is causing this?

Hi Jordan,

I dont pressume to have a solution for you but I would start with checking
how folder redirection is setup in the group policy editor. Client settings
configured on domain level usually produces gray setup/configure windows on
the client side. I kinda like this solution since client side users are often
retarded morons when it comes to computer operation.
