Hello,
I am running a WInXP pro Sp2 and am trying to connect to a network via
Nortel VPN client v5.1. I have the CA's Tiny firewall installed on my
machine and the winXP firewall has been disabled. When I launch the
client it attempts a connection and then gives me the error: Login
failure due to driver failure". I am logged in as the admin. I have
tried the disable keepalives option within the client - dosent work. I
have added the Nortel adapter to the safe zone within the firewall
program - still no go. Any ideas on the cause of this would be highly
appreciated.

Thanks
AJ

AJ,

First disable IPSEC in control panel -administrative tools -services.
uninstall Nortel Vpn software.delete the nortel key under HKEY_ LOCAL_
MACHINE, software.reboot and reinstall Nortel VPN client.problem is a
conflict between Nortel Vpn and a service running.this may resolve the
issue.

Good luck,

Len
