When I watch a program as I am recording it I encounter two issues:

1. Often when I resize the window (eg minimising / maximising) whilst
playing a recording MC goes back to the beginning of the recording. Why? How
do I stop this happening?

2. In the event that (1) occurs the only way I can work out to get to the
end of the recording is by fast-forwarding it. Surely there is some way of
doing it instantly (ie and "End" control). How do I do it?

NB: This is just a comment of mine but it seems to me that MC has been
excessively "dumbed down" at the expense of functionality. And despite that,
so it seems to me, I find the the user interface annoying. Is this a fair
criticism, or do I just need to get used to it?

I should add:

Vista 64bit
Core 2 Duo E6600
GA 965P-DS4
8600 GT

Just in case it affects the answer to my question

I'm assuming your referring to the Vista interface vs. the XP interface? I
prefer the XP one as well, that's about the only thing keeping me from
moving to Vista for my MCE.
