Post subject: Different Videos on Multiple Monitors
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>video (more info?)

I am looking for Windows software that will allow me to play multiple,
different video files onto different displays connected to a single
computer. For example, play video 1 on monitor 1, video 2 on monitor 2,
etc... For up to eight different videos/monitors if possible.

>From what I have gathered, Windows only supports one video overlay, so
it sounds like the remaining videos would have to be rendered without
an overlay. I also read something about the new DirectX Video Rendering
Mixer and wondered if using that would make rendering eight videos less
CPU intensive? Or would it be more CPU intensive?

Any information or software suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
