I was trying to make some changes to MsConfig in the Startup. It says access
violatiion, must sign in as Administrator. It's a new computer & I'm the
only user. What's wrong?

Is the account you are using a member of the administrators group?

I am getting the same message. I am part of the administrators group. Have
an update changed some setting I do not know about?
Thanks for any help you can give.

No, I am the only person on the computer (notebook). I'm the administrator.
I even changed names, just to see & set another administrator. Still didn't
work. I went back to the original name I set up. Again, there's only 1 user
(administrator). I get that Access Denied, but the changes actually take
effect.

Any help/ideas would be appreciated!

I've noticed the same thing. I've never had this error before - it seems
