I shall probably build a new PC to run Vista next year and I am
anticipating that by buying a new monitor for Christmas. I am think of
a flat screen, 17" , and fast refresh rate.

Is there anything that I need to cater for if I run Vista?

Colin

Nothing too major in the monitor department. If you can get a decent wide
screen at an affordable price then I'd highly recommend doing so though I'd
recommend that on any system. Mostly what you'll want to look for is beefy
RAM and a killer video card - don't just meet, exceed the minimal
requirements.
