Post subject: Messenger file fransfer slow
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>messenger (more info?)

I have been trying to transfer files to a friend on msn and it seems
incredibly slow. I have broadband but it seems to be as slow as dial up.
I did network diagnostics in internet explorer.
It said it could not make an FTP connection and that the most likely cause
it my firewall. But have tried turning off the firewall and it doesnt seen
to help
Can anyone help please
