When I try to play a game, I receive the following error message: "128 MB of
video memory is required to run this game!"

What is video memory, and how do I clear some up?

What make and model PC do you have? It sounds like your computer does not
meet or exceed the minimum specifications for the game. If it's a desktop,
you will probably have to purchase a better graphics card. If it's a
notebook, you may be out of luck and should replace the game concerned for
one that has less intensive needs.

I have a Dell Latitude D600. I believe that the card may be an (ATI?)
Mobility Radeon 9000.

The game, if it is helpful, is the demo version of Europa Universalis III.

Read the notebook manual to see if there is the option to increase graphics
RAM... It may be a feature that you can access by right clicking on the
Desktop, selecting Properties, then Settings, Advanced. Of course this
option will reduce the total RAM available to the notebook as it is shared -
eg if your notebook has 512mb of RAM and you allocate 128mb to the graphics
card, then only 384mb is available to the notebook.

Need for video memory????? - I just got the game "desperate housewives" and it won't install, saying my computer does not have enough video memory or video acceleration. It requires 63 mgs and I guess my computer only has 60? I don't know anything about this and am not...

memory low - while opening a program after prolonged downloading a dialogue appeared as saying that memory is low and could not proceed with it, could you help enlighten me as I am novice as innocent. Big thank in advance.
