I have a combined FDD & Media Card reader. All work fine!
'MY Computer' has assigned correct drive letters for 'Compact Flash' &
'Smart Media' drives. Until recently, these drives had type-specific icons.
Now, these icons have mysteriously become generic drive icons, same as my C
drive!
Can I get back the original icons? Note, this problem is purely cosmetic,
all hardware works! >> Stay informed about: Media Card Reader Icons |

I tried several of these "cosmetic" drive icons. Crashes my XP
desktop alot. I avoid them now.
Locate the original drivers for the floppy/card reader combo and try
re-installing it. >> Stay informed about: Media Card Reader Icons |
