| I get the message - Operation cannot be completed with cause being
"Fax messages could not be found.(7009, 2200001347)" The messages
that get this message are not in my Recd fax folder. The messages
arer not in the MS Fax folder either. It looks like the message was
deleted but the entry is still listed. There are 7 messages with this
error report. How do I move the entry from the Inbox?

State your question more clearly. Be sure you specify the program you are
using and the precise steps to reproduce your problem. Don't make us try to
read your mind. Here are some guidelines on how to post:

I am using Windows XP SP2., if that matters. It is in Micosoft Fax
console where i cannot erase the entry from the inbox- i.e. date, tsid
status, pages, size. I was deleting some old messages with no problem
and then came to 7 of them of varied dates that when I tried to delete
I get - "operation cannot....." error. In properties of all these
messages the job id is "0x000000000000000e." The messages are not in
the Windows/MS FAX Folder and doing a search found no item with that
id. >> Stay informed about: MS FAX - Operation Cannot be completed message |

I assume you mean the "Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Microsoft\Windows NT\MSFax\" folder
If so, I've never seen the issue reported or reproduced, and know of no
solutions. Is it causing a problem?

That is the correct folder. It is frustrating to show messages that
do not exist. I would prefer not having the message shell appearing,
but if there is no way to erase them completely I will just have to
let them be. I also am concerned that it can happen to other messages
in the future. I would like to know how that happened, to prevent it
from happening again. >> Stay informed about: MS FAX - Operation Cannot be completed message |

I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. XP Fax isn't noted for being trouble free
or reliable. Clearing the Inbox folder from Window's Explorer seems to fix
most of these issues. You might want to make sure you delete all tmp files
and clear your Internet cache while you're at it.

If you figure anything out, let us know. I've never seen this particular
