Live Messenger Error Code

Hope someone can help me here, but i keep gettin the error code 80072efd everytime i try to sign into Live Messenger, now its telling me that the firewall maybe blocking it but its not cos i disabled it but made sure it had still been granted full access, I can sign into windows messenger but i..

My messenger shuts down whenever I try to veiw a friend's webcam. IS there a way to fix this?

I'm using WinXP SP2 and recently I faced a problem with the Windows Live Messenger 8.0 & 8.1 Beta version. After installing the Windows Live Messenger, my WinXP crashed with a blue screen showing BAD_POOL_CALLED and auto restart my System. I do not have such problem if I revert it back to MSN ..
