A new entry has appeared in my Startup File:

KernelFaultCheck %systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -k

What is it and do I really need it in the Startup File?

I've read several web squibs, which were not very informative.

Using Windows Professional XP SP2 and Microsoft Windows Defender (Beta 2).

Perhaps the latest upgrade of Windows Defender put it there?
