I get this error from time to time:

The instruction at "0x62304390" referenced memory at "0x62304390". The
memory could not be "read".
Click OK to terminate the program

Anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this issue. I have run sfc
/scannow and it found nothing.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Happy Holidays

I am getting same msg, just different numbers. Had it once before and
somehow got rid of it. Now have it again and seem to be stuck with it.
Talked with Gateway and they had nothing to resolve problem. It's a pain in
the butt! No rhyme or reason when it pops up.

Hello techexec:

The message means that in order to close, Internet Explorer needs to
have access to a certain memory address, and is unable to get that
access. So what ends up happening is that Internet Explorer is not
completely closed. If you open Task Manager you'll see that iexplore.exe
is still running.

It might mean that your RAM is going bad. But it probably means that an
add-on that opens with Internet Explorer is causing a problem.

To test add-ons in IE 6 SP 2, go to Tools - Manage Add-ons... and
disable each add-on in turn until you find the one that is causing the
problem. I don't know how you would do this if you don't have SP 2.
