too many security updates - The computer runs very slow. Went to to see what I could take out. Found more than 20 security updates and other similar programs. A. - is this slowing the computer? B. - should I do something to remove them?

New Security Updates and Active Directory Problem - Dear All I have installed new security updates on AD server and clients also have download new updates and after file sharing got currupt and already mapped drived did't work. After rejoining the AD the mapped drive started..

Sluggish builds and F5 in VS2005 since last round of XP Pr.. - This could be a although my has been that it usually is not, but it seems like since the last round of Microsoft security updates (Dec 12, Dec. 18) were applied to my system, VS2005 builds and executes

I can't get security updates either, or anything else for that matter! Just
installed XP x64 pro and the thing didn't install properly. Any ideas?

Do you happen to have any other program installed on your computer for
security purposes? I do, and I'm wondering if the one I have installed
overrides the Microsoft security????

Hi! Go to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/Search.aspx?displaylang=en and
try searching for the exact number of the security update you need (KB...)
and manually install it. It may work.
