Post subject: Image resizer powertoy
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>newusers (more info?)

My image resizer powertoy suddenly quit working! Any ideas? It's still in
context menu......and does as it used to do....but once you click on the OK
button...nothing happens. Image does not resize....zilch...nada...

regsvr32 shimgvw.dll

Press {ENTER}

Then type:

regsvr32 phototoys.dll

I did that register thing and now my Microsoft image resizer program is working again. Wow, thanks.

Image file associations - Is it possible to use something other that the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer as the default program to view images? I tried installing other image programs but I couldn't get them to be the default program for images.

printer informational pop up - i am on XP professional 2002 now. Whenever I print something to a printer a little yellow informational pop up comes up telling me I sent something to the printer and it points to the printer icon in the task bar. This is really useless and annoying..
