Hola everybody-
I am getting error message when trying to shut down:
"The instruction at "0x00100ba8" referenced memory at "0x00100ba8". The
memory could not be "written". Click on Ok to terminate or Cancel to debug"
Sometimes it changes from 0x00100ba8 to 0x00100ca8.
Can anybody advise how to fix?
Please...
THANKS!

If you see that message when you shut down Windows XP it means that
something running in the background is not closing.

If you don't see the message in Safe Mode, disable everything that
starts with Windows and re-enable each item one at a time until you
identify which program is causing the problem.

Thank you for your help.
I'm pretty sure it's ieexplore, as that's what it sez is ending behind the
popup when it ocuurs.
Am I just being impatient & should I just wait for it to close, or is there
something else wrong here?
THANKS again...

If Internet Explorer is the offending application then you should
absolutely suspect a virus or other type of malicious software.
