Help Please

I am new to this group and have read as many posts as possible but, I am
not sure I found what I am looking for. I have a DVD burned of of a
Panasonic DVD Player/Recorder. I would like to convert it to read on a
PC. When I put it in the DVD player on the PC it says no disk. I am
thinking that the format is incorrect or that I need a new codex to read
it. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks,
