Been trying to play Alpha Centauri on my win xp but install setup just stall and
doesn't do anything. Also Attempted to install several different games from same
period (1998-2000) and they don't work either. Tried to set Compatibility
Properties manually to win 95-98-2000 but none of these setting works. The game
websites/forums didn't seem to have any solution that I could find.
So can anyone help me install older games (circa 98-00) such as Alpha Centauri,
Imperium Galaactica II & Independence War 1?
Thanks.

Thanks for your quick reply. However, websites you directed are for help with
running the game. I need some help with the installation. Thanks again.

For myself IG2 said the install failed but it worked. It would not run
though until I set the virtual memory to 512mb. I originally found it on a
Spanish site but just googling found it here too:

I have the other two games you mentioned AC never gave me any problems
except for some graphic glitches.

I War I couldn't get to work but I didn't put a lot of effort into it.

Good luck.
