This week I had to re-install Windows XP on my PC, when it came to installing
my printer through "Add Printer" and going through both locate new Plug +
play and manual find and choosing the correct printer I get an error message.
The message I get is "Printer driver was not installed. Operation could not
be completed".
I have been on HP's help and support and followed all their instructions (
Bios, Device Manager etc) but to no avail ( have on previous occasions
installed this printer succesfully). I really do not want to re-install XP
again so any suggestions please.
