Hi saeedy,
Since that problem just started happening recently, try a System Restore.

| From 1st jan onwards(consider as a new yr gift) gta san andreas, which
| was running perfectly till then, stopped working. somewhere around 9
| in the morning, i went to some website, and the computer suddenly
| restarted automatically.
| it was an error message that says "Windows has recovered from a
| serious error".
|
| Since then gta sa stopped working.
| when i double click on the gta sa icon, it seems like working in
| background for a few milliseconds, and then the normal cursor comes
| back and the game does not get open.
|
| i tried start->run->and the file name, there was no use.
| i tried start->run->dxdiag>sound>>and then basic acceleration, then
| also, the problem persists.
|
| i use amd sempron 2800+, asus motherboard with 64mb video memory,
| 192mb ram.
