Hello,

Is it possible to permanently attach a unique icon image
to a folder no matter where you copy the folder to (i.e.
a server, another computer ...). If not, how would I
move folders to a server and then create individual icons
for them. When I tried to do so, the option for
attaching a unique icon to each folder was not present in
the folder's property menu. Thanks!

RM

Put a file called folder.jpg or bmp in the folder.

This is for thumbnails. There's no foolproof way to move icons as =
folders need to be read only on destination. If so you can use a =
desktop.ini and icon in the folder.
